方々から「君の携帯はいつかけても圏外だ」と言われる私。生来のデジタル製品所有欲を押さえた生活を半年続けてきたのですが、「仕事の為」という大義名分を盾にSO505isを買っていました。

ここ数年でドッチーモからFOMAと、人が飛びつかないような携帯を興味本位に使ってきた私。初期FOMAには迷惑メールを回避する術が無く、1日に50通もの出会い系勧誘メールが来たり、半日で充電が切れたりする事も話のタネにして笑って過ごしてきたのですが、この数ヶ月の電波が有りそうな所を常に意識する生活（それでもやはり圏外が多い）に、そろそろ苦しさを覚えるようになってきたところに「ポケベル持った方がいいんじゃない？」とまで言われてしまったので、FOMAのデュアルネットワークサービスを利用することに。

これで晴れて、電話番号1つで、FOMAとPDCを使い分けることが出来る様になったわけですが、さすがに2つの携帯電話を持ち歩くのは辛いところ。結局の所、SO505isだけ持ち歩く事にしました。何の為にFOMAの契約をしているのか判らない状態になっているのですが、おそらくは来年出る新しいFOMAを試したいというレア機器への興味が眠っているからです。今のところは目を逸らしておきたいところ。

そんなわけで新しい携帯電話の使い勝手にとまどいつつ、1日を過ごしているのですが、何故かいつもよりも電話が多いのです。うーん、今までは私に連絡を取ることを断念した方もいたのでしょうか。ちょっと怖くなってきました。
